NR 153 Rule RevisionBackgroundAdministrative rule NR 153 is being revised to make changes to the Targeted Runoff Management (TRM) grant program pertaining to grant eligibility, awards, allocations for Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs), project size and associated requirements for grantees (e.g. counties) and cost-share recipients (e.g. farmers) to conduct NR 151 implementation activities as a condition of receiving cost share funds. In addition, NR 153 is being expanded to include policies for administering grants to help farmers comply with notices of discharge issued by DNR to small and medium livestock operations.
