Runoff Management Grants

Application Forms and Instructions

Overview

Nonpoint pollution is the primary threat to the health of Wisconsin's waterways. Because the best way to control nonpoint pollution is at its source, the DNR strongly supports local leadership and participation in pollution control. The DNR offers financial assistance for local efforts to control nonpoint source pollution. These grants support both the implementation of source-area controls to prevent runoff contamination and the installation of treatment systems to remove pollutants from runoff. The main goal of the grant programs is to improve the quality of Wisconsin's water resources by decreasing the impacts of nonpoint pollution.
