2008 Impaired Waters List

In July of 2008, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources submitted its draft impaired waters list to USEPA Region V. This 2008 list has not yet been approved or disapproved by the USEPA and is therefore subject to change prior to the final approval.

The original draft 2008 submittal has undergone substantial internal review in the past 18 months. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources continues to refine data entries for various waters, correcting known errors or omissions to ensure that the best possible information is stored in our database and available for resource management and public review.
