2008 Impaired Waters List

Fish communities and stream physical habitat are key indicators of aquatic life health.

Chart shows 2008 impaired waters distributed in the integrated reporting categories of 5a, 5b, 5c and 2.

This 2008 list, required by CWA Section 303d, has not yet been approved by the USEPA and is subject to change prior to the final approval. The 2008 list removes 62 water/pollutant combinations and adds 65 water/pollutant combinations.

• 88 Listings (81 Waters) Restored (Category 2).
