Decontamination   -  How did they do that?

After the dewatered sediment is loaded and unloaded into the truck, a pressure washer is used to clean or "decon" the truck before it leaves the site. All of the water drains into the dewatering pad and is treated by the water treatment plant.

This photo was taken after the material was dumped at the landfill. After dumping the material at the landfill the trucks are sprayed off in the same manner.

Any equipment that comes into contact with the dewatered sediment is pressure washed before leaving the site.
