Wisconsin Waterfront Permit Contacts

For each county, a list of waterfront-related permit contacts is provided.

Click either on a county in the map below or on the name of the county listed below the map. It will depend on your proposed project who you will need to contact for permits.

If you live in a town, you may also need to contact your local town office, as well as your county office, regarding permits. If you live in a city or village, you will need to contact your city or village office instead of the county office.

If your project will have one or more acres of land disturbance, you will also need to contact the DNR Stormwater Program on erosion control and stormwater management regulations.
