Recommendations and Strategies

To ensure that your plan becomes a vehicle for change, make your declarations of problems or issues and your related goals and strategies or proposed actions as clear as possible. With the semantics of planning, this is often more difficult than one would imagine. Please see the suggestions below.

Problem Statement: What is the issue or problem.
Resource Goals: What is the general goal or vision of a better situation.
Recommendations: General recommendations on what should be done.
Strategies: Specific approach and work about how the recommendation is going to get done.

Generally, Watershed Plan recommendations will fall into several common categories related to specific work activities. However, unique recommendations should be developed if called for, and especially where partnerships and common resources are possible.
