Source: Trout Waters in this application were developed from digitizing water features from USGS 1:24,000 scale topographic quadrangle maps and the 2002 Book of Trout Waters. This dataset was last updated in 2004 and represents the 2002 Blue Book of Trout Waters.

Description: Trout Waters are represented by Class I, Class II or Class III waters. These classes have specific ecological characteristics and/or management actions associated with them. During 2007-08, Water Staff are updating and QAQCing this dataset. Currently, six counties of out 72 remain to be completed. Once the work is done (estimate: August, 07), the currently displayed datalayer will be replaced with this updated version.
