Nuisance Algae in Lake Michigan Public ForumThis public forum held on February 18, 2005, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, at Lakeshore Technical College, Cleveland, Wisconsin, drew 150 people from along the entire Wisconsin Lake Michigan coastline, demonstrating the strong concern regarding this issue. Approximately one third of participates were from municipalities, a quarter were concerned citizens, and the remainder were researcher, managers, and politicians.
