Wadley Lake, T26N, R9E, Section 33 Surface Acres = 46.2, Maximum Depth = 27 feet, Secchi Disk = 11 feet A hard water seepage lake having alkaline, clear water of moderate transparency. The entire shoreline is upland of hardwood and cleared land. The littoral materials are composed of sand (70 percent), gravel (20 percent), and muck (10 percent). Submergent aquatic vegetation grows in moderate quantities while the growth of floating and emergent types is sparse. Fish inhabiting this lake include northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, yellow perch, bluegill, black crappie, pumpkinseed and black bullhead. An unimproved public boat landing with parking is located on the southwest shore. Five dwellings are located along the shoreline.

Where the scale is 1-5 1= Beautiful, could not be any nicer; 2= Very minor aesthetic problems - excellent for swimming, boating, enjoyment; 3= Swimming and aesthetic enjoyment slightly impaired because of algae levels; 4= Desire to swim and level of enjoyment of the lake substantially reduced because of algae (would not swim, but boating ok); 5= Swimming and aesthetic enjoyment of the lake nearly impossible because of algae level.
Trophic state is another indicator of water quality.
