Crow Lake, T26N, R9E, Section 13 Surface Acres = 8.6, Maximum Depth = 9 feet, Secchi Disk = 4 feet A very soft water seepage lake having slightly acid, clear water of low transparency. The immediate shoreline is predominantly upland (80 percent), of hardwood, conifer, pasture and cultivated land with the remainder marsh wetland. Littoral materials are muck (80 percent), sand (10 percent) and gravel (10 percent). Aquatic vegetation is moderate in quantity. The fish population is unknown, however, panfish may be present. Loons are known to nest here. There is no public access or public frontage. There is no shoreline development.

Where the scale is 1-5 1= Beautiful, could not be any nicer; 2= Very minor aesthetic problems - excellent for swimming, boating, enjoyment; 3= Swimming and aesthetic enjoyment slightly impaired because of algae levels; 4= Desire to swim and level of enjoyment of the lake substantially reduced because of algae (would not swim, but boating ok); 5= Swimming and aesthetic enjoyment of the lake nearly impossible because of algae level.
Trophic state is another indicator of water quality.
