• Licensed Well Drillers
  Listing of individuals and companies that are licensed by Wisconsin to do well drilling. The list is grouped by the county of their mailing address. They may also work in surrounding counties.
• Licensed Pump Installers
  Listing of individuals and companies that are licensed by Wisconsin to do pump work in wells. The list is grouped by the county of their mailing address. They may also work in surrounding counties.
• Well Filling and Sealing Contractors
  These individuals and companies have indicated the counties in which they will do filling and sealing work. The list is grouped by county. Starting June 1, 2008 this work must be performed only by licensed well drillers or pump installers or an employee of a registered well drilling or pump installing business. However, there is an exception for a person that is water system operator certified by the DNR and the well is within the service area of the local governmental water system for which the individual works or under the supervision of such an operator and filling or sealing a well within the water system’s service area.
• Well System Inspectors
  These individuals and companies have indicated the counties they will do system inspection work.
  The list is grouped by county. Effective June 1, 2008 it is required that if a drinking water well inspection is performed for a real estate transfer, it must be done by an individual licensed as a well driller or pump installer. However, there are three county health programs that have authority to perform real estate transfer inspections, and they are Waukesha, Eau Claire, and Trempealeau.  This change in the law does not require that a drinking water well inspection must be performed at the time of real estate transfer.
