Welcome to the on-line version of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) Small Water System Operator Certification Course. New rules effective in 2001 require Other-Than-Municipal (OTM) systems and Nontransient Noncommunity (NTNC) systems to have designated certified operators managing their water supply systems. This on-line course provides information to assist operators of OTM and NTNC systems in preparing for their certification exam.

In addition to introducing course material, this on-line course can be used as a presentation aid in the classroom and an on-going resource available on the Internet for small water system operators.

This training course is based on and designed to be a companion to the Second Edition Small Water System Operator Certification Course Reference Manual developed by Wisconsin Rural Water Association (WRWA) and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The organizational structure and content of this on-line training course is nearly identical to the Course Reference Manual.
