Disinfection

There are different methods that can be used for disinfection of a water system, including the following:

• Chlorination
• Ultra Violet (UV)
• Ozone

Chlorination is the most commonly used method because chlorine can remain in the water and keep disinfecting it throughout the system. UV and Ozone disinfection systems can only disinfect the water as it passes through them.
