Wisconsin's Drinking Water Program

• USEPA can delegate authority of the SDWA to the states. This delegated authority is known as primacy authority.
• WDNR has primacy authority in the State of Wisconsin.
• Enforcement of the drinking water regulatory program is the responsibility of WDNR's Bureau of Drinking Water and Groundwater.
