Wisconsin Water Education Adventures

Wees-kan-san (Wisconsin), Ojibwa for "gathering of waters", is the home to thousands of lakes, miles upon miles of rivers and streams, groundwater aquifers that would cover the state with more than 30 feet of water, and two of the Great Lakes. We use water every day in our homes and industries. It is a critical element of our lifestyle which we cannot live without.

Begin a Water Adventure

The following series of teaching activities will assist your students in recognizing the importance of water and some of the water issues Wisconsin faces. The activities come from a variety of sources and will be a fun and interesting way of studying about water. We hope you enjoy your water adventure.
