Tainter Creek Fishery Area
This 320 acre property in south-central Vernon County offers upland hardwoods, old fields, and 2 Class I trout streams. White-tailed deer, squirrels, wild turkeys, and upland furbearers are common game species. Pileated woodpeckers, scarlet tanagers, wood thrushes, and numerous warblers frequent the area.
