Youth Deer Hunter

Sarah Cantrell shot her first deer during the 2009 Youth Deer Hunt. Sarah is 13 and lives in Champlin, Minnesota. Her father, Clayton, had this to say about Sarah's experience:

"This was her second youth hunt in Wisconsin. She shot this 7 point from a tree stand on opening day about 5:30pm. The deer was about 90 yards out and she made a good lung shot. The deer ran about 60 yards before dropping. Sarah hasn’t stopping smiling since. I think she is going to be a hunter for life. It was a very good day. Thanks for having this excellent program for kids."
