Pheasant hunting in Wisconsin requires a small game license and a pheasant stamp. A small game license and pheasant stamp can be purchased at any licensing vendor or DNR service center, through our online service center, or over the telephone by calling 1-877-WI-LICENSE.

Some public hunting grounds have both hen and cock pheasant hunting or a 2pm closure. For more information on requirements for those hunting grounds, read the Small Game Hunting Regulations.
