Be a Friend of Wisconsin State Parks

Friends groups support the mission and activities of more than 55 Wisconsin state parks, forests, trails, and recreation areas. If you're interested in becoming an official friend of a particular state park, forest, or trail, contact the property superintendent for information, submit a volunteer application, or contact the Outreach Coordinator.

If you would like to be an e-friend (receive occasional e-mails about friends group programs and other news), contact the Outreach Coordinator.

This two-page document lays out the steps you will need to take to become a friends group and where to direct questions.

Friends of Wisconsin State Parks [exit DNR] is a statewide non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance, preserve, protect, restore, and promote Wisconsin state parks, forests, trails, and recreation areas.
