Fall at Whitefish Dunes State Park

Fall is a good time to hike through the woods and see the brilliantly colored leaves. Many birds are heading south, and as the leaves fall, wildlife becomes easier to see.

In fall you may see such things as the lichens and turkeytail and jelly fungi growing on this log.
