Pets at Whitefish Dunes

Pets are welcome at Whitefish Dunes. We ask pet owners follow a few simple rules to ensure safety and comfort for all. Service dogs are welcome anywhere in the park.

Pets on the Whitefish Dunes Beach

Pets are restricted to the area of the beach south of the third beach access. To reach this area, walk your leashed animal from the parking area down the red trail and then onto the beach.

The beach access ramp near the nature center and the first access stairway south of the nature center have been posted with "No Pets" signs. Park staff monitor pet activity on the beach very closely.
