Lake Kegonsa State Park
If You Bring a Pet
Pets
are welcome at Lake Kegonsa State Park. Owners must control their pets
so that they do not interfere with other visitors' enjoyment of the park.
The park’s pet rules are basic and established for the health and
safety of all park users and for the health and safety of the park and
its resources.
Pets are allowed on hiking trails except on the White Oak Nature Trail.
Pets are allowed in the campground but not in the picnic or playground
areas or in buildings.
A pet swim area has been established and is a great way to swim with
your pet! Pets are not allowed at the beach.
Pets must always be on a leash less than 8 feet long. Do not leave your
pet on a campsite unattended. Please cleanup after your pet. Violations
of any pet rule may result in eviction from the park and a substantial
fine.
