Camping at Amnicon Falls Park

Trees towering over a campsiteAmnicon Falls State Park has 36 campsites, including one that is accessible for people with disabilities and two walk-in sites, 100 and 150 feet from the parking area.

It's a quiet, mostly rustic campground, with tall trees partly or fully shading all the sites. There are no electric hookups, showers, or dump station. No generators may be operated in the park.

Rest rooms: Three sets of vault toilets. The buildings near sites 8 and 18 are wheelchair accessible. There are no flush toilets.

Drinking Water: There are two faucets with drinking fountains.

Firewood: Self-service honor system across from park office.

Supplies: A store and gas station is just east of the park on US Highway 2.

Reservations: Thirty of the sites are reservable. Make reservations on the Web or phone (888)Wl PARKS ((888) 947-2757, TTY (800) 274-7275).

The following sites may be reserved:

  • Accessible medium shaded site: 7
  • Large shaded sites: 9, 12, 14, 19
  • Large partly shaded sites: 11, 25, 34, 35, 36
  • Medium sized shaded sites: 8, 13, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
  • Small shaded sites: 10, 18, 32, 33 (32-33 is double site).
  • Walk-in large partly shaded site: 17
  • Walk-in medium shaded site: 16

Wildlife: For a clean and safe campsite: do not feed the wildlife. Keep coolers in closed vehicles, especially at night, keep food out of tents, and don't leave food scraps. Keep the wildlife wild.
