Wisconsin state parks and forests
First-come, First-served Campsites

While campers can reserve campsites at most Wisconsin state parks and forests, nearly all the parks and forests also have some sites that are available only on a first-come, first-served basis.

The table below lists the approximate number of reservable and non-reservable sites at each property. Check with the park or forest office for current availability. There's no guarantee, of course, that a site that's vacant when you call will still be available when you arrive at the park. You can register for most non-reservable sites for up to 14 consecutive days.

Any reservable site that hasn't been reserved also is available to campers who arrive without a reservation. The maximum stay depends on the next date for which the site has been reserved, up to 14 days.

Note: In the table below, total sites may be more than the sum of reservable and first-come sites because of camp host and emergency sites.
