Each skier, mountain biker, and equestrian age 16 and older must have
a state trail pass. Park
admission stickers and trail passes available now are valid through December
2008.
Hikers, pets and snowshoers are not permitted on groomed cross-country
ski trails. The Ice Age trail, which travels the length of the park, is
open to hiking, pets on a leash, and snowshoeing, as are the mountain
bike/horse trails on the west side of County Highway C. Hikers also may
use the paved accessible trail which begins at the Homestead Hollow parking
area at Lapham Peak.
Camping
Lapham Peak's one backpack campsite on the Ice Age Trail is available
year-round and may be reserved by calling (262) 646-3025.
Lapham Peak is one mile south of Interstate Highway 94 (Delafield
Exit #285) on County Highway C. The park closes at 9 p.m.
