Kohler-Andrae State Park Conditions
Conditions as of Saturday, July 5, 2008:
All nature and hiking trails are open.
Camping
All campsites are open. Campers must register at the park office before setting-up.
The showers, flush toilets, and water fountains are open for the season.
To reserve a campsite for dates two days from now through November 2, 2008, or April 1, 2009, through 11 months from today, use the Web or phone (888) 947-2757, TTY (800) 274-7275. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis from November 3, 2008, until April 1, 2009.
Accessible Cabin
Kohler-Andrae State Park is accepting reservations for its new accessible cabin. This cabin and six others like it in other Wisconsin state parks are for people whose physical disability makes use of traditional camping facilities very difficult or unlikely and their families. The cabin is available from May 1 to October 15. Because of high demand, reservations are limited to 4 nights per year, per location. For more information, ask the park office (920) 451-4080.
Nature
The bluebirds in the birdcam nest box have laid four eggs. The last egg was laid July 3. The birds are now incubating the eggs. Bluebird eggs hatch in 12-14 days. You can view the activities on the television in the office conference room.
Office and Nature Center Hours
The park is open 6 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily year-round. The park office is normally open 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily.
The Sanderling Nature Center is open daily from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m until October 31.

We are accepting entries for the 2008 Friends of Kohler-Andrae Amateur Photo Contest. Pictures taken at Kohler-Andrae from September 1, 2007 to the contest deadline, September 1, 2008, may be submitted.

The Wisconsin Great Lakes beach testing program [exit DNR] is underway.
Annual vehicle admission stickers for 2008 are available now and are valid through December 31, 2008.
