Harrington Beach State Park ConditionsConditions as of Thursday, July 3, 2008: TrailsAll trails in the park are open. FishingFishing has been spotty on Quarry Lake and slow on Puckett’s Pond. Please remember that these bodies of water are part of the Urban Fishing Program. Please see page 20 of the 2008-2009 Fishing Regulations for more information. Other InformationThere have been many sightings of fawns, singles, twins and triples, in the park. A Western Meadowlark has also been sighted in the park. Construction of the campground continues and should be completed later this year. Camping will begin in 2009. The park office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday hours vary. Please call the office, (262) 285-3015, if you have questions. The Ansay Welcome Center is closed for the summer due to the construction that is taking place and will reopen in the fall. Volunteers are always welcome. We're especially looking for someone to stain park benches here at the park. Please call for information. The shuttle bus is now running for the summer.
