Military Ridge State Trail Conditions

Conditions as of Tuesday, July 1, 2008:

One section of the trail remains closed because of standing water.

• The second highway underpass approximately 2 miles west of Verona

The rest of the trail is open and in good condition.

The Ridgeway Depot is open every Sunday through September 28, 2008, from noon to 3 p.m.

Pet owners, please be sure to have your pet on a leash, 8 feet or shorter, at all times. Horses are not allowed on the Military Ridge Trail corridor.

Trail passes are required for bicyclists and in-line skaters age 16 years and older. Passes must be purchased before using the trail.
