Glacial Drumlin State Trail Conditions

Conditions as of Tuesday, September 14, 2010:

The trail is open and in good condition.

State trail passes are required for bicyclists 16 years and older. Passes may be purchased at self-registration boxes along the trail and at local vendors.

State Highway 26 Construction

The State Highway 26 bypass is under construction in the Jefferson area of the trail. The trail is passable but routes are changing as development is being done.

To get to the new paved parking lot from State Highway 26, look for the Glacial Drumlin State Trail signs with the arrow near Jefferson Road. The new parking lot is about two miles north of the old parking lot. Take East Frontage Road for 1-mile south (there is no sign yet for East Frontage Road, follow the red directional arrows).

At the stop sign, turn right on Jahn Road for 0.25 miles. Turn left at Schreiber Lane and go 0.25 miles to the new parking lot (N5322 Schreiber Lane). This will be the route for the next two months while there is bridge construction on Highway Business 26. The detour has been marked by orange barrels with red directional arrows.
