Governor Thompson State Park Conditions

Conditions as of Wednesday, July 2, 2008:

Governor Thompson State Park has not sustained any damage due to the recent rains and flooding. All park facilities and the park's 16 miles of hiking trails are open.

New Access Road

The additional mileage to Paust Lane is now complete and open for the July 4 weekend. Boaters wishing to use South Bay or Boat Landing 13 will have to use the Ranch Road entrance to the state park. The old road to boat landing 13 is closed off to vehicular traffic from the intersection with Fabian Lane. A state park admission sticker is now required to use the boat landing.
