Picnic Shelters in Wisconsin State Parks and Forests

Many Wisconsin state parks and forests have shelters or picnic areas that can be reserved for large group picnics, family reunions, weddings, and other events.

The following pages list the shelters, picnic areas, auditoriums, and amphitheaters, with the location, capacity, and amenities of each.

Reservations are accepted up to 11 months in advance of the rental date.

Shelter reservation rules

To reserve a shelter, print, fill out, and mail a shelter reservation form (PDF, 112KB) to the park or forest where you want to hold your event. Please note that all vehicles will need admission stickers.
