State Parks, Forests, and Trails With No Hunting Allowed

Deer hunting is allowed in some parks to control the deer population in order to protect endangered and other plants and to prevent the spread of chronic wasting disease.

Parks that allow hunting are listed on another Web page. The hunting is allowed only in designated areas away from campgrounds, picnic areas, and other heavily used areas.

The following state parks, forests, and trails do not allow any hunting. They're arranged by the quarter of the state they're in, and parks with campsites open during deer season are indicated.
