Whitefish Dunes State Park
Rocky Trails and Sandy Tales
The Whitefish Dunes landscape has changed dramatically over time. As
students hike through the park, they will discover signs of these changes
as they learn about ancient seas, fossils, glaciers, lake levels, and
sand movement. They will discuss how these changes affect life today at
the park.
