Let's go on a fossil hunt! Students will search for fossils, discover how they are formed, and use this knowledge to understand what once lived here. Students will also learn the three major rock types.

Special Instructions

The program is entirely an outdoor program. Dress in layers because the park is at least 10-15 degrees cooler than inland temperatures.
Windbreakers are also a suggestion. This program can be combined with Sandy Stories and Dunes for a longer program.
