Sticker Design Contest

2013 State Park Sticker Design Contest

Wisconsin state park and forest annual vehicle admission stickers are designed by high school students chosen in a statewide contest. The design contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, is open to all high school age students attending public, private, or parochial schools in Wisconsin.

Entries for the 2013 sticker design are being accepted now through March 27, 2012.

2012 Winner

The winning 2012 admission sticker, with a boat and fishing pole, was designed by Grace Johnson, a senior at Appleton North High School. The winning design will be printed on state park and forest annual vehicle admission stickers and will be displayed on more than 150,000 vehicles.

Point Beach State Forest - Through November 20, 2011

The Friends of Point Beach State Forest are sponsoring the 6th Annual photo contest. You can submit photos through November 20, 2011. More Information [exit DNR].

Office of the Great Lakes - Through February 1, 2012

The Office of the Great Lakes holds an annual photography and writing contest. Winning submissions are chosen for the Great Lakes Calendar. Writing submissions may also be featured in the calendar and on the DNR website and other publications. Deadline for submissions for the next calendar is February 1, 2012. More information.

Buckhorn and Roche-A-Cri State Parks - Through September 30, 2012

Buckhorn and Roche-A-Cri state parks hold an annual photography contest. Photographs can be entered in the categories of wildlife, people using the park, open (landscapes, etc.), and youth (for photographers 18 and younger). Prizes are awarded. Photos must be taken within the boundaries of the parks between October 1, 2011, and September 30, 2012. More Information.

Friends of Wisconsin State Parks

The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks (FWSP) holds an annual photography contest. Winning submissions are chosen for the Friends’ Calendar with 100 percent of the Calendar proceeds going to FWSP to aid local friends groups. More information [exit DNR].
