Leave your vehicle or bike on Washington Island and take the passengers-only Rock Island Ferry to the island.

The ferry leaves Washington Island at:

| May 25 - June 22 | 10 a.m., 1 and 4 p.m. daily |
| June 23 - Labor Day (September 3) | Hourly 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. |
| September 4 - October 8 | 10 a.m., 1 and 4 p.m. daily |
The ferry leaves Rock Island 15 minutes later.
Fares
- Adults and youths age 11 and older: $9 round trip
- Children age 5-10: $5 round trip
- Adult campers: $11 round trip
- Child campers $6: round trip
- Children under age 5: free
