"400" State Trail Conditions

Conditions as of Tuesday, December 20, 2011:

The trail is in good condition.

When conditions become favorable for snowmobiling, check with local counties for up-to-date trail information.

State trail passes are required for bikers and horseback riders aged 16 and older. They can be purchased at the Reedsburg Depot - Trail Headquarters (240 Railroad St. in Reedsburg, (608) 524-2850 or (800) 844-3507). The state trail passes for 2012 are now available.

Horses are allowed on a 7-mile parallel trail between La Valle and Wonewoc. Horses must stay on the grassy portion and are not allowed on the limestone surfaced trail.
