Visit the Department of Natural Resources booth at Loon Day in Mercer between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Various displays explain resource and recreation issues as well as proposed management in the Turtle-Flambeau Scenic Waters Area. Staff are available to answer questions.

Wildlife Pontoon Boat Tours and Canoe/Kayak Outings
The North Lakeland Discovery Center is a community-based environmental learning center that promotes stewardship of the region's natural and cultural resources. The Discovery Center offers a diversity of experiential learning opportunities. Programs are based on the premise that the better we understand our natural environment, the more likely we are to accept our shared responsibility to look after it. They schedule a number of interpretive tours and outings [exit DNR] in the Turtle-Flambeau Scenic Waters Area throughout the summer.
