Incidental Take Public NoticesFor more information, contact:Rori Paloski Prior to authorizing the incidental taking of an endangered or threatened species, State Statute 29.604 (exit DNR) and Administrative Code 27.07 (exit DNR) require that the Department give notice of the proposed activity to the news media throughout the state and to any person who wants to receive notification of the proposed takings. Any application, conservation plan and implementing agreement submitted as part of a proposed Incidental Takings project shall be available for public review upon request. The Department shall consider all public comment on the proposed project if received within the comment period by the Endangered Resources Program. The Wisconsin DNR maintains an Incidental Take Public Notice mailing list. Other organizations or individuals can request to be added to the Public Notice mailing list by filing a written request with the Bureau of Endangered Resources. Pending Public Notices
