Natural Heritage Inventory County Data by TownshipThe Natural Heritage Inventory (NHI) County data is based upon data from the Wisconsin Natural Heritage Inventory. The data provides a list of the endangered resources (rare, threatened, or endangered species and high quality natural communities) that are known to occur within each Township and Range within a county. This data is intended to replace the Online Database at this time. Please read Interpreting and Using Natural Heritage Inventory County Data [PDF 20KB] before using the NHI County Data to better understand the data presented. Information may be copied into other documents. This information is intended for public use. The County Data is a general reference that provides a list of the known occurrences of endangered resources by listed Township. The County Data does not identify specific locations of endagered resources, and, as such, this data is appropriate for general planning and assessment purposes only. If you need information for an entire County please see the Natural Heritage Inventory County Maps for a list of all endangered resources and high quality natural communities occurring with in a county.
