Tracks that can be mistaken for cougar

Lynx tracks are as large or larger than cougar tracks, 3-4"+ long by 3-5"+ wide, but have smaller toe pads, smaller interdigital pads (heel pad), generally a shorter stride, and stay much higher up on deep snow.
