Wisconsin's Threatened & Endangered Mayflies

Wisconsin has one State Endangered and one State Threatened mayfly species. Acanthametropus pecatonica and Anepeorus simplex are relatively large, predatory mayflies belonging to the families Acanthametropodidae and Heptageniidae, respectively.
