Bullsnake Observation FormTo submit a bullsnake sighting, please complete as much of the information below as you think is worth noting. Fields marked red are required fields. You may be contacted by a state herpetologist for more detailed location information, if necessary. Bullsnake possession disclaimer: Bullsnakes are a Protected Wild Animal in Wisconsin, making it illegal for them to be possessed by members of the public without proper permits from the Department of Natural Resources. It is therefore recommended that, when documenting observations, snakes be photographed and not handled or captured. Furthermore, bullsnakes cannot be removed from the point of observation. Notice: The Department cannot process your observation unless you provide complete information. Data submitted may be shared with the Natural Heritage Inventory Program with the discretion of DNR staff. Information may be provided to requesters as required under Wisconsin's Open Records Law [ss. 19.31 - 19.39, Wis. Stats.] Personally identifiable information will be used to process your usage information but will not be used for other secondary purposes. For questions regarding data, please contact Rich Staffen at the Wisconsin DNR. Last Revised: January 9, 2007
