Science Services - Flora and Fauna Checklists
Standardized checklists provide a ready reference for many scientific endeavors, both in the field and laboratory, and are particularily useful to teachers and students. Checklists are the primary tools for scientists to keep track of an area's biological diversity.
Science Services has recently published important updated checklists for Wisconsin:

Please note that the Guide to Grasshoppers of Wisconsin (Other/Miscellaneous Publication #1008), Checklists of Wisconsin Vertebrates (Other/Miscellaneous Publication #954), and Birds of Pheasant Branch Conservancy [PDF, 1.3MB] (Other/Miscellaneous Publication #991) are currently out of print.
