Wisconsin Certified Lab Lists

The laboratory lists below are generally updated at least twice annually. If you do not see what you are looking for call the Laboratory Certification or Registration Program at (608) 267-7633. Specialized lists for a particular project, such as PCB laboratories, dioxin laboratories or all wastewater laboratories are also available upon request.

These lists are available as PDF files. You may use Acrobat Reader's built in search capability to locate a particular laboratory. If you need a free copy of Adobe's Acrobat Readersoftware, instructions on how to obtain one are found inb the footer of thei page. These lists are intended to be used only as a guide to help locate certified and registered laboratories. These lists do not contain specific information about the scope of a laboratory's certification or registration. Users looking for laboratories to conduct a specific test or type of test are encouraged to contact the program at (608) 267-7633.

Disclaimer: Certification or registration is not a guarantee of the accuracy or validity of the data generated by a particular laboratory. Laboratories that have been recognized by the DNR as certified and registered have implemented a quality control program in accordance with Chapter NR 149, Wis. Adm. Code, and have the systems in place to generate traceable analytical data. The Department provides these lists as a service to the environmental community, and cannot recommend a particular laboratory for a project.
