Safe HuntingIt is the responsibility of every hunter to engage in safe, ethical, and legal practices. Every hunter should ask him/herself three questions before they cross a fence or pull a trigger... Is it legal? Is it safe? Is it fair? Every hunter must be willing to correct a member of their own hunting group if they witness inappropriate, unsafe, or unethical behavior. In order to keep the long standing heritage of sport hunting alive in Wisconsin, we must recognize that courtesy is the common key to maintaining this tradition -- courtesy to landowners, to other hunters, and to those who do not hunt. Hunting is the tradition of family, friendships, stories and memories.
