Recreational Safety Warden April Dombrowski
For the past year, Recreational Safety Warden April Dombrowski has gone “above and beyond the call of duty” to provide some critical coverage for the Recreational Safety Programs for both the Green Bay and Fitchburg position vacancies. While others also assisted with this effort, April took the lead in ensuring that the required municipal audits were completed, workshops were put on, instructor certifications were completed, problems and issues were addressed in a timely manner, etc. At the same time, she continued to handle her own area of responsibility in addition to her continued involvement on statewide projects and initiatives. Now that these positions are filled, she is doing her part to mentor and assist these individuals. April’s efforts apply to Goal 6 of the Law Enforcement strategic plan “Lead, Adapt and Manage the Organizational to Successfully Achieve the Mission in a Rapidly Changing World and Provide People with Fulfilling Careers.”
