Warden Hansen has received two Chief Warden recognition awards and has also received awards from the Wisconsin Conservation Congress and has previously been designated as Shikar Safari International’s Officer of the Year. “Tom has been an excellent role model not only for conservation wardens but also for all DNR employees,” stated George Meyer (Madison), WWF Executive Director and former DNR Secretary. The Wisconsin Wildlife Federation is made up of 155 hunting, fishing, trapping and forestry organizations located throughout the State of Wisconsin and is the state affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation. The Federation is dedicated to conservation education and the advancement of sound conservation policies.
