County Forest Acreage Payments

Towns in counties that have lands enrolled under the County Forest Law are eligible to receive payments from the Division of Forestry. Towns receive annual $0.30 per acre payments based on acreage in the town enrolled under the County Forest Law. Towns determine how the payment will be used.

No application is required. DNR makes payments as soon as possible after April 20 of each year.
