The Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) provides loans to public water systems to build, upgrade, or replace water supply infrastructure to protect public health and address federal and state safe drinking water requirements. The DNR is the primary administrator and the Department of Administration (DOA) is the financial manager for this program.

In the left-side navigation of each Environmental Loans web page is a link to a reference guide that provides information, listed alphabetically by topic, on the steps and regulations to be followed from the early stages of the loan process through the closeout stage.
